Red civic robe trimmed with ermine, belonging to the Provost of Banff.
Chain
Gilded chain of Office for the Provost of Banff. The pendant carries the emblem of the town of Banff, surrounded by the motto 'OMNE BONUM DEI DONUM (Every good thing is a gift of God) and scrollwork. The chain consists of small plaques between short lengths of chain, each engraved with the name and dates of provosts. Hallmarked Edinburgh, 1896.
