Flintlock military pistol, with a flat basic sideplate in the shape of a reversed S, rounded trigger-guard, the bow almost rhomboidal in plan, and plain pommel-cap with long spurs and with a large, domed iron screw underneath; with ramrod. The number 3 carved on the lockplate is probably an armoury number. Ramrod holder broken. Carbine bore, mechanism shift.
