Bronze Age Sword. Late Bronze Age. Bronze V-type sword, tip missing, with narrow blade and hilt and sloping shoulders with 2 holes in the shoulders and 2 in the hilt for attachment of horn or bone plates to act as a grip. Black patina on hilt only, blade clean. Ewart Park type - Northern step 2. Found in Banffshire.
