Robert the Bruce Charter dated 1st August 1324. The Chapel of Our Lady near Banff (in the grounds of Duff House) was
bestowed upon the Carmelites by King Robert the Bruce on 21 April 1321. This grant was confirmed by a second charter of
1 August 1324.The original document is held here in the Museum.
