James Ferguson Pocket Watch. Pocket watch with white enamelled face with Roman numerals; belonged to James Ferguson, noted astronomer, instrument and globe maker. The mechanism carries the name of Benjamin Faulcon, a watchmaker based in London. Mid-18th century, and is inscribed inside the outer case rim 'James Ferguson 1746' and 'Andrew Reid 1801'.
