Commemorative bowl (there was also a jug). Bowl is of white glazed earthenware with pink lustrous rim and framing to three transfers round side inside and outside, plus central transfer in bottom of bowl. Transfers have naval theme, with pictures, verses and quotations. Made by C.T. Maling, Newcastle, 1860s.
