Display case containing a stuffed domestic tabby cat and a common hare posed as though engaged in a boxing match, with both creatures wearing boxing gloves. This Victorian example of anthropomorphic taxidermy is probably based on Herman Plouquet's book 'Comical Creatures,' the illustrations of which influenced taxidermists to copy them.
