A pair of metal boards commemorating the continuation of services rendered by the Banff, Macduff and Whitehills lifeboats of the Royal National Life-Boat Institution. The first board dates from November 1861 to October 1947. The second board dates from May 1947 to May 1969, when the lifeboat was withdrawn. Each lifeboat is named, and every entry describes the rescue and the name of the vessel if known.
