Stone Corner
Banff has one of the best collections of House Stones to be found in Scotland. Walking round, if one looks up, you will find House Stones on many of the older properties .They often show the initials of owners of the building, usually the Husband and Wife and are sometimes referred to as Love Stones. They can also be found on the Gable ends of properties on the Skew-putt stones. One side will show the initials and the other the date.
